River Alone is a private evening experience created for people who want to slow down rather than follow another busy sightseeing itinerary.
The experience begins with a short boat through a quieter river area near the Sonakhali. We then anchor at a suitable and permitted location, where the boat becomes your private space for the evening.
Enjoy tea, snacks, sunset, a beautifully presented Bengali dinner and time to simply sit, talk, photograph and enjoy the river after dark.
There is no sightseeing checklist and no rush. Just your people, the river and a few peaceful hours together.
Day 1
Arrive at the boarding point and board your private boat. Enjoy a short scenic cruise into a quieter river area, then anchor at a suitable permitted location. Relax with tea and snacks while the sun sets, followed by a Bengali dinner and peaceful time on the river after dark. Return to the boarding point after the evening experience.

Guests arrange their own transportation to the boarding point. Private Kolkata pickup and drop can be arranged separately on request.
No overnight stay is included. This is an evening river experience.
Most travellers reach Canning from Kolkata by train or car. From Canning, take a car or auto to Sonakhali Launch Ghat, where you'll board a boat to the Sundarbans. Share your starting point so the team can help plan the easiest route.
